瞬間動詞的用法

英文中，有種動詞叫做瞬間動詞，這種動作只發生在瞬間，不會持續。在時態使用上要特別小心。

常見瞬間動詞如: marry/die/come/start/arrive/ buy等

 

她已經結婚3年了。

a. She has married for three years. (x)

b. She has been married for three years. (o)

結婚是瞬間發生的動作，不會持續發生三年。第一句有"三年來一直在重複結婚的動作"之意。而用形容詞been married則表示處在結婚狀態已三年。

我爺爺過世5年了。

a. My grandfather has died for five years. (x)

b. My grandfather has been dead for five years. (o)

c. My grandfather died five years ago. (o)

同理，死亡也是瞬間動作，第一句話的涵意為" 五年來一直重複死亡"。改成b/c的句子比較符合邏輯。

演唱會已開始10分鐘了。

The concert has started for ten minutes. (x)

The concert has been on for ten minutes. (o)

start也是瞬間動作，僅發生在當下，要形容已經持續一段時間，用been表狀態較適合。
